The reason to be here....

Well the holidays are fast approaching, and I know that they are not always fun for me to handle. As I was thinking about this one day I was asking God, How are we suppose to do this?? You know those days, when you just don't feel like you can get through the heart ache, the empty arms, the missed moments. That's when God showed me that in these times one of the biggest things that He has provided for a help is others... Do you remember maybe when you were a kid someone spelling out JOY to you as Jesus Others and You... well it was a principal to put others first and not to be selfish. But today I really think that we can apply that in a differant way.
We have been given
Jesus - he offers to us the strength to handle our if we only ask
Others- those who have been down the road you have. The ones who just listen to you, cry with you and often times pray for you.
You - But all of these wonderful things can be ours if we just take the opportunity to reach out for them!
So as I was given this thought, I knew that I was blessed to have special friends who have felt my heartache. I just knew it would be great to have a place we could all go where we KNEW that everyone here would be someone who is also Grieving the Child they never knew.
I am going to be posting some things from the book "Grieving that child I never knew" If you want a copy of this book please email me and I will do my best to get one to you. My thought was that I would post things from that days thought, and we could leave comments on how that helped us or the struggles that we are facing and not sure what to do with. Make it what you need.
Well there it is, our group... any other ideas would be sooo welcome!
